Alberto Pascual has always been interested in cinema, music, literature and arts. 



After his studies of Journalism at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, AV Communication at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Television Direction at Instituto Oficial de Radio y Televisión de Madrid; Alberto has been trying to combine all his passions in his work.



He has worked as a Television Director, Video Editor and Camera Operator specialised in live broadcast and recording of Classical Music concerts and Opera. Realising several works for TVE and Teatro Real de Madrid, Alberto had the chance to work in productions of Placido Domingo, Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Peter Sellars, Alain Platel, Phillip Glass and Michael Haneke.



In addition to his musical programmes, he has also directed four short films:



- Mantis (2004) co-directed by Rodrigo Atiénzar. First prize in the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid Short Film Competition: University Section.



- Dúplex (2007) produced by María Paz Hernández. 



- La Presentadora (2009) with Marta Suárez, Iván Moraleda, Kira Miró, Javier Coronas and Javier Collado, short film finalist at Horror and Gore Film Festival of Molins de Rei.



- The Lingerer (2012) based on a story by Neil Gaiman, script by Lori Ann Stephens and music by Max Perriment. Created for the English National Opera Minioperas Competition.
